We are thrilled to say we have been invited to join the Project Propeller team at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport, this Sunday 17th June 2018!
If you’re unfamiliar with this brilliant cause: Project Propeller was created by a brilliant team as a way to thank our brave airmen for their service in World War 2. All of them were volunteers and they played their part with courage and determination. Many of them have not been in an aircraft since the war’s end, so events such as this give them the opportunity to fly again and catch up with old friends.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday 17 June 2018 at Wolverhampton, Halfpenny Green Airport – the former wartime airfield of RAF Bobbington. Over 120 aircraft and 140 veterans are expected to attend, but please note that this is a private event and access is by invitation only. If you are ex-WW2 aircrew of any nation and you would like to attend Project Propeller, please do get in touch with the Project Propeller team HERE!
Grub Street will be there to promote some of our most important military aviation titles, some of which detail the events that these honorable veterans really lived through all those years ago…
