Are you a scale model enthusiast? Do you have a keen eye for painting and making models? If so, please come and join us for the world’s largest fine scale modelling show at the IPMS Telford Weekend!
Taking place between 10am and 6pm on Saturday 11th November, and 10am and 4pm on Sunday 12th November, at the Telford International Centre, this promises to be a fantastic event with a lot of spectacular displays and demonstrations. Bob Brown of Model Design Construction, and John Adams of Aeroclub Models, will be demonstrating their skills. Plus the IPMS will be running their annual competition to find some of the best models in categories such as military vehicles, aircraft, figures and sci-fi/fantasy.
If making models is more your cup of tea, you’ll be pleased to hear that over 160 traders will be in attendance, and there will also be a massive kit swap – there will definitely be something here for everyone!
Grub Street will be attending the event on both days, and we are thrilled to announce that we have Steve Bond, Bryan Elliott and Kel Palmer joining us on Saturday to sign copies of recently released ‘Javelin Boys’.
Light refreshments, hot meals, hot and cold drinks and licensed bar are all available in the halls throughout both days, and the IPMS are proud to say they will be observing the two minutes silence on Saturday in honour of Remembrance Day at 11:00 and will also be holding a Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday in the conference room at 11:15.
